Privacy Policy
Vicate Music is operated by Ivan Ryzhko, Kraków, Poland. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
- Account & order data — name, email address, billing country, and the details of your license purchases (track titles, license type, timestamps).
- Payment data — card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; Stripe returns a payment confirmation and a customer reference only.
- Session data — a short-lived session cookie to keep you logged in during your visit. No persistent tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To process your order and issue your license certificate.
- To send you a purchase confirmation and your license documents by email.
- To let you access your licenses and account in future visits.
- To respond to support requests.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties beyond what is listed below.
Third parties
- Stripe — payment processing. Your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- GoSMTP — transactional email delivery (purchase confirmations). Only your email address and the content of the confirmation email are transmitted.
Cookies
We use one session cookie to keep you logged in while you browse. No analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies are set by this site. Stripe may set its own cookies on the Stripe-hosted checkout page.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@vicatemusic.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Note: issued license records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes even after account deletion.
Data retention
Order and license records are kept for as long as legally required (typically 5 years for financial records under Polish law). Account data is deleted on request, subject to the above retention requirement.
