I'm Ivan Ryzhko. I write production music — music made specifically for video — and I've been doing it for twelve years.

Twelve years under someone else's brand

For most of those years my tracks were sold through the big stock marketplaces, under someone else's brand. Hundreds of tracks, thousands of licenses. I never met the people who used them, and they never met me. The music travelled anyway — my BMI statements show it playing on television in countries I've never set foot in, and every now and then one of my own tracks turns up in an ad in my YouTube feed.

That's a strange way to run a music business, and it's why Vicate Music exists.

Everything comes from one desk

Here everything comes from one desk. Every one of the 200+ tracks in the library was written by me, in Ableton — mostly electronic: the house and dance music I grew up on, hip-hop, lo-fi, boom bap. The kind of music that sits under fashion, lifestyle and brand video. I write the tracks, register them, prepare the WAVs and stems, write the licenses, and answer the emails. When a Content ID claim lands on your video, you're not filing a ticket with a platform — you're writing to the person whose name is on the recording.

And none of it comes from a prompt. I don't use generative AI at any stage — writing, arranging or mixing. Every note here is something I played or programmed myself, and if that matters to you or your client, this page is the statement you can point to.

I priced it the way I'd want it priced myself. €29, once, for one online project. You download the files, you keep the PDF license, and you never pay for that track again. No subscription, no renewal, no expiry. The only question you have to answer is whether your project is commercial or not — the rest is my job, not yours.

Written to brief
